A Special Year-End Message

As the year draws to a close, AWL extends its heartfelt gratitude for the valued partnerships over the past year. Instead of sending traditional year-end gifts, the company has chosen to allocate those funds to support relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Helene—a cause that has deeply resonated with AWL and its team.

Why this cause matters to us
Hurricane Helene has left devastating effects in the southeastern United States, with significant damage extending far inland in states such as Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. More than 230 lives were lost, with nearly half of these in South Carolina alone. The storm’s intense winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding caused severe damage to homes and infrastructure, leaving many families isolated and entire communities without power for weeks.

This cause hits particularly close to home for us at AWL. Over 95% of our US colleagues were affected to some extent, and our local operations were shut down for a week due to power outages. Critical infrastructure projects were destroyed, and many of our employees faced challenges at work and in their personal lives.

Our commitment
Together with our US employees' contributions, we donate $15,000 to relief efforts. This includes some of our colleagues' Christmas gift funds, reflecting their dedication and willingness to help those in need. These funds will go toward highly-rated organizations providing emergency aid and long-term recovery support to impacted communities.
