In a recent strategy session with Brose, AWL had the honor of being presented with the Brose Finalist Innovation Award. “We are delighted and proud to receive this award as it shows that our customers appreciate the developments that go on at AWL”, says Johannes van Dorp, Business Unit Manager Automotive.
In addition to the token of appreciation, it also promises something for the future – the standardization and modularization of machinery and jigs for Brose. These allow us to offer machinery through a framework agreement, bringing efficiency to and removing the strain from our bidding and production processes.
We have created machinery for our customer, Brose, for over thirteen years. To serve our customers even better, AWL has developed a platform of modules for laser welding, arc welding and jigs in the form of a modular line. Modular construction ensures optimal flexibility regarding different product variants, boosting or decreasing production capacity and allowing machinery to be redeployed.
By following market trends, listening to our customers and using our common sense and expertise, we can offer answers and solutions to the challenges that lie ahead. We do this by undertaking innovation projects and working on open innovations. The latter means actively participating in and collaborating on innovation projects with customers, suppliers, partners, universities and knowledge centers.
