Our Participation at IZB 2024: A Recap of Our Experience at Europe’s Leading Automotive Supplier Trade Show

Last month, we had the pleasure of participating in the prestigious IZB (International Suppliers Fair) in Wolfsburg, a key event for the automotive supply industry. With 40.000 visitors and more than 800 exhibitors, the IZB is an impressive tradeshow. Originally organized by the Volkswagen Group, the IZB brings together top-tier suppliers and innovative technology providers from across Europe.

European High Tech Pavilion
As in previous years, AWL was proud to be part of the European High Tech Pavilion, a dedicated space for sub-suppliers working with major Automotive OEMs. This pavilion serves as a dynamic platform for networking, showcasing cutting-edge solutions, and engaging with industry leaders. It was an exciting opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and highlight our latest advancements in automotive technology.

The AWL stand crew is very positive, based on discussions with new and existing contacts during the show. New innovation insights are gained as well as branch information.

According to Gerhard Junte (Business Unit Manager Automotive Seating): “It feels like being in a candy shop. We met a lot of familiar contacts and we made new connections. We didn’t expect to have that many new conversations.”

Also, Alexander Mulder (Business Unit Manager Automotive Body) is happy about the participation: “It was the perfect networking event for us, where we met many customers and potential new ones, especially having the opportunity to engage with top-level decision-makers.”
